The Unaffordable Mandate Act
The Obama administration has characterized the health plans that Americans have lost due to the Affordable Care Acts mandates as "sub-standard", "lousy", "bottom-feeding" and "cut-rate". How ungrateful of us not to recognize the government's superior wisdom.
By Howard Hyde

Has Anyone Asked the Patient?
Non-physician practitioners are gaining the licensing to expand the scope of their work to include more of what has until recently been considered the domain of fully trained and certified physicians. This trend may provide some flexibility in the delivery of care and relieve the doctor shortage. But should patients be obliged, with no choice in the matter, to accept a nurse practitioner as just as good as a physician?
By Howard Hyde
Dr. Sandeep, Jauhar, writing in the New York Times, agrees. See:
Nurses Are Not Doctors

Health Care Solution: Patients in Command
If patients commanded the resources spent on their behalf, most of the economic problems of health care would be resolved. But the government won't permit that.

Eat it, It's Good For You, Says Big Brother Senator Feinstein
We are losing our constitutional liberties and heading toward Big-Brother totalitarianism at a faster rate than at any time in the history of the United States of America, for the sake of social programs that are rammed down our throats on fraudulent premises and which can never fulfill their marketed promises.

Let this Patient Die
Some people want to ‘reform’ Obamacare, not repeal it. Now that we know what’s in it, can’t we remove what we don’t like and keep the good parts?
Answer: A plan so deeply rooted in misperception, centralized planning, misinformation, mono-partisanship and political bullying, passed in the Senate in the wee hours of Christmas Eve 2009, is not salvageable.

Some supporters of Obamacare are honest enough to admit a few of its warts. Would that they would take those admissions to their logical conclusions.

Why ObamaCare Will Fail
The failures of Medicare, Medicaid and socialized health care systems around the world are not accidents, rounding errors or bad luck of unanticipated complications. Rather, they are the inevitable, predicable result of forceful interference in the voluntary cooperation of free citizens. Obamacare will fail for the same reason that the Soviet Union failed: command-and-control economies cannot function rationally.

If you don’t own the book already, the chapter-by-chapter notes below will give you a good idea of why you should.

Obamacare is not a done deal!
It still can and must be rolled back because:
·        It’s based on false premises.
o       The US healthcare system, for all its warts, is still the best that yet exists in the world.
·        It harms more than it solves.
o       “Pass it to find out what’s in it”? Now that it has passed, you won’t believe what’s in it!
·        It will never fulfill its advertised promises.
o       Health insurance on average has already become $5,500 more expensive than expected.
o       You can’t keep the doctor you like if (s)he’s quitting.
o       You can’t keep the plan you like if your employer drops it or it doesn’t meet the approval of the HHS.
o       Command-and-control economies have failed and will always fail, no matter the party in charge.
·        Living under this law’s regime will be much dearer still than the cost of fighting it to the bitter end.

The USA needs real reform that will work.

Whether you are a patient, a doctor, a public official, a political activist or just a regular guy or gal who can’t understand what the fuss is all about, this plain-language citizen pamphlet will give you the intellectual ammunition to understand our predicament and to defend your rights, your prosperity and your country.
